Hello

I'm having this problem. With my old laptop I could use rewire with Vocaloid2 and Cubase SX3. When I pushed play Cubase and Vocaloid would act together.

But now I installed Cubase and Vocaloid on another computer and it doesn't work anymore. Vocaloid keeps saying "Cannot open rewire".

I opened Cubase first, opened a project, then added Vocaloid2 VST, then opened Vocaloid Editor in master rewire mode. But apparently there is no communication whatsoever between the two programs.

Can someone point out what has to be done? Is it something with my computer sound card?

Thanks

I found out how to fix it!

I needed to install the rewire by installing Asio4all.

I remembered that on my old laptop I installed FLStudio on it, and with FLStudio there was Asio4all installed with it which had rewire installed on it.

So basically you have to install FLStudio and then automatically, CubaseSX3 can use Rewire and Vocaloid is finally listed in the devices menu. Just wanted to say this for future people who haven't a clue why there is no Vocaloid rewire in the devices menu.
