New version of the Vocaloid technology is unveiled at the NAMM 2007 show! Three new Vocaloid 2 products announced. The Presentation schedule is as follows:

20-Jan(Sat) 15:00-15:45 at Meeting Room "Gold Key", Mariott Hotel
VOCALOID2 is a new version of VOCALOID, which includes major improvements in usability and synthesis quality.

| Mike Oldfield uses VOCALOID | |
Mike Oldfield used VOCALOID in his latest album "LIGHT & SHADE".

In the track "The Gate", he added "Ooh" and "Yah" to make a chorus harmonized perfectly.
In the track "Tears Of An Angel", he put some lyrics by making them like echoes with the same melodies as the ones played by the keyboard. For this track, he says that this was his first track created by using VOCALOID, and by mixing in his voice, it achieved a nice thick choral effect.

Powerful and handy "Play With Synthesis" mode
"Play With Synthesis" mode enables you to play back the synthesis instantly.
Toggling between "Play With Synthesis" and "Play After Synthesis" modes for each track enables you to free up CPU usage.
- For tracks you are working on use "Play With Synthesis" mode.
- For tracks you have finished use "Play After Synthesis" mode.

| VOCALOID wins G.A.N.G Award!! | |
The Game Audio Network Guild held the "2nd Annual G.A.N.G. Awards Show" on Thursday, March 25th 2004 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California, during the Game Developer's Conference 2004.
Yamaha's Vocaloid technology won the "Best New Audio Technology" award!! The other nominees were "THX Game Certification Program" and "Sensaura GameCODA".
